[Disciple Releases] Chapter 228-230

Chapter 228 can be found here!

Hello everyone, I’m back! Feeling better than ever! Thanks for all the concern and supportive comments, I really appreciate them!

About Qidian, I haven’t received any take-down notices or anything like that yet, and if they ever reach out to me again, I doubt I will take their offer for now, due to school and what-not. I can’t keep up a constant schedule after all, which Qidian requires. (See, my hiatus was my plan all along!) Well, if they ever come after me, I will probably run and hide and somewhere. Teehee. Well, we can cross that river when we get there.

Now, some of you might have realized since yesterday, but I have finished up the EPUBs and PDFs up to the current point of translations, which I have delayed for ever so long. (Sorry to my reader whom I promised that I would do it after my mid-terms last semester, only to get it done now >.<) Yep, you can download them through the Dropbox folder here. The Dropbox links can also be found in the Disciple ToC here.

While I was at it, I have also done some edits to my translations since chapter 1. The changes are mostly the inconsistencies in terms, the irregularities in my capitalization of terms, and also some renames to places. There’s absolute no need for you to re-read everything again, since the content are the same. Just that if you spot some changes in the terms in the future chapters, please don’t be alarmed. Also, the changes have only been applied to the downloadable EPUBs and PDFs, not the individual chapters on this site as of yet, except for Arc 7. I will fix up the individual chapters on the site in bulks, once I have the time.

Of course, if you ever get confused about the places and names and what-not due to the term changes and my long hiatus, I have also finished up the glossary if you ever need some help in recalling them.

Once again, I would like to thank all my readers for the support and love you have given me! School will be starting soon, so, before that, in order to answer to all your support so far, I will dish out chapter after chapter everyday! Ah crap, I shouldn’t make promises like this so easily~ But whatever, I will try my best! Stay tuned!~

[Disciple Releases] Chapter 223-227

Chapter 223 can be found here.

Sorry for the hiatus the past month. Got hit by a mental breakdown of some sort, and was literally contemplating about life for half a month, especially on what I really want to do in the future. Haven’t really found an answer yet though, teehee.

So yeah, sorry to worry you guys, and sorry to the people who are disappointed with the chapter release rate, even though I made a promise of producing a chapter every 2 days. But I hope that I would get some more rest time to think about this for a little while more. It won’t be long, just a few more days!

Anyways, some other matters. I have received some e-mails requesting to translate my English translations of Disciple and the early chapters of RPG into other languages. I’m fine with it, but please take note that though I try to keep the translation as accurate as possible, I have still taken some liberties in my translations as well. More importantly, I don’t own the actual work, nor have I gotten official permission from the relevant authorities. In this case, Qidian and sfacg. Though Qidian has invited me a long while back, because I was pretty involved in my studies, I declined their offer. Haven’t got a reply since.

Yeah, that’s about it. Please enjoy these five chapters, which will conclude the present arc! I will be back in a few days!

[Disciple Releases] Chapter 209

Chapter 209 can be found here!

Ello everyone, I’m officially qui- gah, it’s April Fools, no one’s going to fall for something like this on April Fools, right?

So yeah, it’s been a while. Midterms are over, and finals are approaching as quick as ever. By the time you’re reading this, I’m probably already seated in my practical exam venue, typing out lines and lines of code like my life depends on it. Yes, it’s Saturday. I’m still in school. Sigh.

Anyway, translating speed will pick up again early May when my finals are over! I will probably randomly throw in some chapters this month when I’m finally fed up with my math assignments being more about tedious checks for careless mistakes instead of testing actual concepts.

Oh right, if you guys aren’t aware, So What if it’s an RPG World has been picked up by Sicill and her team here. So, head over there, RPG World fans!

So yeah, be patient! I won’t abandon you guys! Ever!

Status Update!

Ello everyone! Just to give everyone a quick update. My finals will be ending at the end of November, and I will be back translating right after.

I would like to thank everyone for all the supportive and encouraging comments, and I also hope all the best for anyone who’s having their finals soon as well! Gambatte! We can do eet!~

Oh and uhh, if you guys are bored waiting for updates, you can try reading Cultivation Chat Group, if you haven’t yet. I have kept up with the raws, and I have to say, it’s absolutely amazing for a xianxia novel. It’s well-paced, hilarious, and the author pays great attention to the large cast of side characters, which is hardly done so in mainstream xianxia novels. It’s one of the very few novels I’m following right now even with the limited I have. So yeah, give it a shot if you haven’t!

And yeah, that’s about it for now. See you guys at the end of the month!

[Announcement] Something heavy

Hello everyone, how is it going? I had wanted to write this for a while now, but I have been pushing it back. As most of you should know, it’s been almost two months since I started university, and honestly, I’m not doing too well.

I just completed some of my mid-term papers, and I am with the general consensus with all of my peers, and admit that they were tough. But they weren’t that tough. I did my revision on the topics covered, and everything that I covered came out.  But. I couldn’t score. My mind blanked at almost all the crucial moments. Gibberish answers. Careless mistakes everywhere. I could have done better, but I didn’t. It makes me feel that all the hard work I had been putting in was just wasted. Sigh.

Studying isn’t fun. And it’s even less fun when all your studies do not pay off. But I have no choice but to keep studying. I mean, what else can a typical Singaporean university student, who had constantly studied for 12 years prior to this, do?

So, I’m sorry to tell you all of you this, but I most probably won’t be translating for now. At the very least, until semester break.  I just can’t put my mind into translating when studies are weighing in on me. I seek your understanding!
